Reusable hose fittings typically consist of two parts - the fitting (body only) and the socket, which can be connected to the rubber hose or tube. The fitting and socket are designed to be threaded together, creating a secure and tight connection between the two components.

The thread side of the fitting can be male or female, and they can be straight, 45 degree elbow, 90 degree elbow to suit different installation environments.

Thread type of thread side: In order to meet the application standard requirements of different markets and the requirements for the working pressure of reusable hose fitting in the application environment, we provide different thread and seal types as below:

Reusable JIC (Joint Industry Committee) Hose Fittings: 37 degree flared, SAE J514

It use 37 degree flared seating face to do the connection and meet SAE J514 standard. And it’s usually used to low pressure rating, straight, 45 elbow and 90 elbow can suit various installation environments.

NPT (National Pipe Thread) Reusable Hose Fittings: tapered thread

NPT threads are most accepted in the American market, especially in North America, so NPT reusable fittings are best sold in the United States and Canada.

ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) Reusable Hose Fittings: O-Ring Face Seal (SAE J1453)

ORFS fitting is the most popular product for high pressure equipment in the current market, because its O-ring end face seal ensures that it can work stably under 6000psi high pressure. So if you are worried about leakage, ORFS detachable connector will be your wisest choice.

BSP (British Standard Pipe) Reusable Hose Fittings: include BSPP, & BSPT, BS 5200

BSP reusable hose fitting includes BSPP and BSPT. They’re quite popular in Europe and also provide reliable pressure rating. Customers who prefer NPT fittings often also choose BSP fittings.

JIS: it’s 30-degree flare seat that matches the JIS tapered pipe thread (JIS B2351)

JIS is also british thread, and it’s normal used in Japan, although the user group is small, it is highly reliable. It usually uses a 30-degree taper seal and complies with the JIS B2351 standard.

Note: If you use them to R1 or R2 rubber hose, then we will provide them with our RN1 or RN2 sockets, then we call them H8J-R1 / H8J-R2; if you’d like to use to R5 rubber hose, then we will assemble with RN5 sockets, then our part number is H5J.

So far, NJ offer reusable hose fittings for SAE100R1AT, SAE100R2AT, SAE100R5 rubber hose. And we also welcome the project of reusable hose fittings for 100R7 if the customer can provide the complete and detailed documents.
